Candace Plattor

Watch Video

As a world-renowned Family Addiction Therapist, Candace Plattor has a passion for empowering families, loved ones, and addicts to take control of their lives. Having spent years working in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with those suffering from addiction, Candace discovered one of the most dangerous contributors to keeping people living in active addiction: the enabling acts of those who love them. Bringing to TEDx a shift in thinking about what helping an addict really looks like, Candace’s talk covers how Loving with Boundaries can heal.
